I got busy. That’s my excuse for not doing Blogmas this year. I had planned on it, as I previously stated. Unfortunately other things were going on that got in the way. I do have new video though! New book haul. Most of these books were purchased on Black Friday. Let me know if you’ve read any of these or if I should read any of these first.
I am a day late, but I’m here for Blogmas! I thought about doing Vlogmas this year, in which I make a video every day up until Christmas. I just don’t have the time to create that many videos though. I will, however, have the time to create blog posts 🙂 Blogmas will be a mixture of videos and blog posts this year for me. My first post is a video. A wrap up of all the books I have read since September.
I will be having a Thanksgiving break this year; being off of work from November 20th and returning on November 30th. I feel like I will be able to get a lot of reading done. So I created a TBR. Then I decided that I wanted to have some reading challenges.
- Read a 2015 release
- Read a book that helps me move forward in a series
- Read a book with fall colors
- Read a fantasy
- Read a book I just want to read.

This is the story of a legendary director, his daughter, and an investigative journalist. The daughter dies and her death is ruled a suicide. The journalist decides to investigate this because he has a little obsession with the director as his career was disgraced because of his efforts to try to take down the director. We follow the journalist and the people he meets along the way as he attempts to uncover what really happened to the daughter and if he’ll ever discover the truth about the director.

Here is my most recent book haul. These are a few books I pre-ordered and purchased off of thriftbooks.com. A little story time is included as well.
New month means new book releases. Also, I may have pronounced some authors name incorrectly. Apologies. Let me know if you are interested in any of these books or if there are any books you’re interested that I missed.
I will be participating in NaNoWrimo this year. I’m excited about it. I will be re-working a story. I hope to win NaNoWriMo this year. It would be my first year. It usually takes me over 30 days to finish my novel, but I have a good feeling this year will be different. Hopefully 🙂
Let me know if you’ll be participating and we can be writing buddies! You can find my profile here. Happy writing!
Is it really October 30th? Well, I guess it is. I have been pretty busy the last couple months. I want to start updating this blog though so I will be spreading my book love here. Yes, it is the end of October, but these releases will still be available. And they are spooky just in time for Halloween.
I am excited to share something new with you all.
